Educational Guides
Exhibitions include a curriculum that is engaging, hands-on, and reflective of contemporary art—the art of today—and historical references of previous periods.
This curriculum has been carefully designed and constructed to appeal to direct sections of learning disciplines. This will allow students to research and discover for themselves their own artistic talent, develop new skills, and identify their passion.
Goals & Objectives:
Building connections and partnerships for students progressing from grade school to college level.
Promote mental health awareness and emotional regulation through artistic expression.
Fostering a sense of mastery and achievements with opportunities to develop artistic techniques and skills through the curriculum.
Assist educators in familiarity with fine arts to establish a creative learning environment and experience for students.
The aim of educational guides is to assist teachers in preparing and optimizing students' experience at the exhibitions, as well as ensuring a lasting and continuous learning experience for students. The guides present a variety of tasks and activities that can be used before, during, and after the exhibition. They also provide teachers with background information to assist them in becoming knowledgeable about the subject matter and learning opportunities.
The Benefits:
Curriculums are carefully designed and constructed to appeal to a direct section of learning disciplines.
Teachers may use the guides as a lesson plan.
Students will be able to research and discover their artistic talent and develop skills through an ongoing process.
All educational guides follow the guidelines of the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and include clear and concise Student Learning Outcomes.
