Meet the Team
Kean University has seven active art spaces on the main campus located in Union, New Jersey. Six art galleries host professional nationally and internationally recognized artists who are involved in solo and group shows, traveling exhibitions, and immersive experiences. Plus, there is a dedicated gallery for our student shows, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their work and prepare for a career as a professional artist, art educator, or gallery owner to name a few.
The Galleries at Kean feature work by historical figures, contemporary, and ultra-contemporary artists presenting all types of art. New exhibitions are featured in each gallery twice a year. Kean is also home to an array of outdoor sculptures and an extensive contemporary art collection which is highlighted across campus.
It takes a village to deliver high-quality exhibitions, programs, events, and educational class visits, workshops, and camps.
