Opening Reception of Unfolding: Early American Accounts from Liberty Hall
Opening Reception: Unfolding Tickets
Join us for the opening reception of Unfolding: Early American Accounts from Liberty Hall, an exhibition that explores how paper functioned in the eighteenth century as a vital tool for transferring knowledge, documenting daily life, and conveying social obligations. Drawing from paper records preserved by Kean Galleries and Collections and the adjacent Liberty Hall Museum, the exhibition reveals stories connected to William Livingston, New Jersey's first elected governor and a signer of the U.S. Constitution, as well as generations of the Kean family into the twentieth century. We invite you to celebrate the opening of this fascinating exhibition and discover how these historic documents continue to connect us to the people and events that shaped our region's past.
